“Has “hipster” now replaced “indie”, I find both words to be vague as a description to a wide variety of styles and tastes: fashion, music, lifestyle, diet, etc. The problem with culture and industry butchering words is that it often promulgates negative connotations to the people who live/breathe eclectic lifestyles….I really don’t have a problem with the word however mainstream media distorts the application and creates this love/hate relationship with the public….” @LetterToVoltaire
